Mr. Paul Mbugua is a well-known Africa wide banking ICT professional with strengths in business process reengineering, project management and Innovations. He has been instrumental in implementing critical automation projects for many banks across Africa. As a Chartered qualified banker, a certified information systems auditor (CISA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, Certified project management practitioner (PMP) among others, Paul holds a Bsc in Mathematics from University of Nairobi, Msc in computer science as well as an Msc in MIS from American Institute of Computers Science (AICS). Paul has worked for Standard chartered bank as part of the initial business process reengineering team that saw the bank centralize as well as introduce digital channels. Later, Paul joined Loita group (Fintech group) to initiate and setup Kenswitch ATM network. With his wide experience in ATMs/POS and payment systems, he was assigned the duty to design, implement and manage the Kenswitch project.Paul founded Eclectics International Ltd with key focus been to provide affordable locally made and supported banking automation ICT solutions. Within 6 years, the company has had over 200 youthful ICT employees, over 200+ bank client across 23 countries running various of Eclectics innovative solutions.Through Paul, Eclectics has pioneered the introduction of profitable financial inclusion projects reaching out to the unbanked across many parts of Africa using low cost wide-reach latest ICT technologies like mobile wallet and device agnostic agency banking etc. This has seen banks and financial institutions double/triple their number of customers and profitability within record time of 24-48 months. Paul has also been instrumental in sensitizing banks on design of customer centric solutions that would bring about cross selling, 360 degrees view as well as increased turn around time/efficiency.
