Ian Carlo Zuñiga is currently a GIS specialist for Catholic Relief Services-Philippines in Eastern Samar. His work there involves empowering various communities through the use of maps and building their capacity in disaster risk reduction and management. Aside from engaging in DRRM work, his lifetime goal is to make other people aware about the wonders of GIS and how they can benefit from it. On his spare time, he likes to read and travel to unfamiliar places.
