Godwin Mashiri

General Manager
Having studied and specialized in insurance, Godwin has experience working in short-term insurance, medical and life assurance and microinsurance. Godwin has been instrumental in the development and rollout of multiple microinsurance and financial inclusion products throughout Zimbabwe.

As the Ecofamer champion, Godwin has promoted the platform and incorporated Human Centred Design when developing a bundle of agriculture and financial products such as, weather index insurance, micro life assurance (funeral coverage), medical insurance, access to markets, agriculture information services and savings products for farmers and those previously excluded from accessing formal financial services. Godwin also oversees the the management and integration of Ecoframer’s strategic partnerships with NGOs, technology service providers, agriculture buyers, and other key stakeholders.
