Building Customized Vaccine Registry Technology 
VaxTrac is a clinic based workflow management tool (currently using android based smartphones or tablets) used by frontline health workers to create and update patient level immunization records that are synchronized to the cloud and aggregated into the national health management information system. Data collected by VaxTrac is available to immunization program managers at every level of the health system who use it to make more informed decisions regarding predicting vaccine stock needs, regional coverage levels, and gaps in service delivery.

By using the VaxTrac system for critical decision support for health workers, collecting clinic level data that is available to decision makers in near real time, and building capacity for immunization managers to make data driven decisions, we can dramatically improve health outcomes and help avert nearly 3 million vaccine preventable deaths a year.

The exhibit will showcase the VaxTrac system (tablet demo) while also providing visitors with programmatic context using real examples and lessons learned from countries currently using the technology.
