The annual ICT4D Conferences have proven to be an invaluable opportunity for NGOs, private sector organizations, universities, governmental agencies and foundations to share their experience in using ICT to increase the impact of development programs and to learn from each other.  In 2016, 715 individuals from 76 countries and 301 private sector and public sector and civil society explored the ways to harness the full power of digital solutions to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.  Our thanks to Accenture, Catholic Relief Services, Esri, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, iMerit Technology Services, Inmarsat, IS Solutions, Making All Voices Count, Mercy Corps, Microsoft, NetHope, Oxfam, Pandexio, Qualcom Wireless Reach, RTI International, SimbaNet and World Vision for making that possible.

Ona Data Platform
Ona (www.ona.io) is a simple, yet powerful data collection, management and analysis platform that makes it easy for everyone, from individuals to large, multi-national NGOs,to collect, manage, analyse and securely share their real-time data.

Users can sign up for a free account and start collecting data within minutes. Surveys are authored in Excel (or any other spreadsheet program) using XLS Form syntax, an easy-to-learn form authoring standard that allows non-technical program managers to create complex surveys with intricate skip patterns, data validations, multiple languages, and calculations. Surveys can be deployed on any smartphone, tablet, or computer, and data collection can happen entirely offline. Ona provides powerful mapping and chart-based analytics, making it simple for users to analyse and draw insights from data in real-time. Granular permission levels make it possible for organizations to securely share data within their company or with external stakeholders. With filtered data sets, users can choose to hide specific fields within their data (e.g., sensitive personal information) and still share their data in real-time.

Ona is used actively by thousands of users worldwide and in many large-scale development projects, including the Government of Nepal's post-earthquake 1M building damage assessment and DFID's humanitarian response in Somalia. Ona is being adopted by development organizations like Mercy Corps and IRC and UN organizations like WFP and WHO. Ona is trusted by thousands of individuals and organizations worldwide to conduct their mission critical work. Whether you are a team of one or one thousand, Ona provides the tools to run your data collection project from start to finish.
